Locomotive Fitchburg Northern 2-6-0...
Due to the complexity of building the Fitchburg Northern, I have decided to leave this project to the professionals at JD Locomotive Works. This is quite an expensive undertaking and will take some time to complete. I plan on purchasing a battery powered locomotive to use in the mean time, plus it's safe for all ages to operate.
I'll add pictures of the F.N. progress as they become available to me.
- Locomotive (2-6-0 Fitchburg Northern) status: on hold ($0 of $10,000)
(black / green stripes w/ brass bands
- Tender (for Fitchburg Northern) status: on hold ($500 of $4,000)

Update 4/22/2011: As you can see, I haven't started saving up for the main component yet, as my wife demands a house first. Hopefully if all go's as planned, that should be a reality late this year. I feel bad waiting this long to get started on this. I'm going to hammer out at least the tender by the years end. And hopefully the locomotive next year.
