Winter Storm 2011 Weymouth, MA. Approx 20" of
snowfall in under 24 hours!
This large amount of snow was to heavy for some of the surrounding trees and caused minor damage to the train storage barn & tracks. The bigger problem is the uprooted tree, hanging across the tracks. Its being held up by another tree it fell onto. I won't be able to fully asses damages until the snow fully melts.
I took these pics about a week after the storm (approx 4-6" of snow remaining now)
The red lines show approx where the tracks are under the snow.
